The Town of Yorkville is a rural area of homes, farm land, and businesses with a population of over 3,300 residents located in the south central part of Racine County. The Town has 52 miles of roads that are cleared and maintained by Racine County Public Works Department (at our taxpayers’ expense). The post offices of Union Grove 53182, Sturtevant 53177, and Franksville 53126 serve the area. Telephone prefixes are 878, 835, 884, or 886.

The Town is the home of the Racine County Fair held in July. The Modine-Benstead Observatory on the corner of Highway A and 63rd Drive has public night open houses. The Ives Grove Golf Links just west of I-94 on Highway 20 is a 27-hole link-style course. Learn more about these attractions by clicking on the link provided under that menu choice.

With downtown Racine about 25 minutes away; Milwaukee, 37 minutes; and Chicago, 82 minutes, we are within easy driving distance of shopping, entertainment, recreation, and cultural events.
